                                                        दृढ़ निश्चय 

एक बार एक संत महाराज किसी काम से एक कस्बे में पहुंचे। रात्रि में रुकने के लिए वे कस्बे के एक मंदिर में गए। लेकिन वहां उनसे कहा गया कि वे इस कस्बे का कोई ऐसा व्यक्ति ले आएं, जो उनको जानता हो। तब उन्हें रुकने दिया जाएगा।

उस अनजान कस्बे में उन्हें कौन जानता था ? दूसरे मंदिरों और धर्मशालाओं में भी वही समस्या आयी। अब संत महाराज परेशान हो गए। रात काफी हो गयी थी और वे सड़क किनारे खड़े थे। तभी एक व्यक्ति उनके पास आया।

उसने कहा, “मैं आपकी समस्या से परिचित हूँ। लेकिन मैं आपकी गवाही नहीं दे सकता। क्योंकि मैं इस कस्बे का नामी चोर हूँ। अगर आप चाहें तो मेरे घर पर रुक सकते हैं। आपको कोई परेशानी नहीं होगी।

संत महाराज बड़े असमंजस में पड़ गए। एक चोर के यहां रुकेंगे। कोई जानेगा तो क्या सोचेगा ? लेकिन कोई और चारा भी नहीं था। मजबूरी में वो यह सोचकर उसके यहां रुकने को तैयार हो गए कि कल कोई दूसरा इंतजाम कर लूंगा।

चोर उनको घर में छोड़कर अपने काम यानी चोरी के लिए निकल गया। सुबह वापस लौट कर आया तो बड़ा प्रसन्न था। उसने स्वामी जी को बताया कि आज कोई दांव नहीं लग सका। लेकिन अगले दिन जरूर लगेगा।

चोर होने के बावजूद उसका व्यवहार बहुत अच्छा था। जिसके कारण संत महाराज उसके यहां एक महीने तक रुके। वह प्रत्येक रात को चोरी करने जाता। लेकिन पूरे माह उसका दांव नहीं लगा। फिर भी वह प्रसन्न था। उसे दृढ़ विश्वास था कि आज नहीं तो कल मेरा दांव जरूर लगेगा। पूरे एक माह बाद उसे एक बड़ा मौका हाथ लगा।

महात्मा जी ने सोचा कि यह चोर कितना दृढ़निश्चयी है। इसे अपने ऊपर अटूट विश्वास है। जबकि हम लोग थोड़ी सी असफलता से विचलित हो जाते हैं। अगर इसकी तरह दृढ़ निश्चय और विश्वास हो तो सफलता निश्चित मिलेगी।

*शिक्षा:-*

यह प्रेरक प्रसंग हमें सिखाता है कि हमें असफलताओं से विचलित और निराश नहीं होना चाहिये। दृढ़ निश्चय और निरंतर प्रयास से सफलता अवश्य मिलती है।

                                                       Determination

Once upon a time, a saint arrived in a town for some work. He went to a temple to stay for the night. However, he was told that he would be allowed to stay only if he brought someone from the town who knew him.

The saint was unknown in the town. He faced the same issue in other temples and inns as well. Now, the saint was quite troubled. It was quite late at night, and he was standing by the roadside. Just then, a man approached him.

The man said, "I am aware of your problem. But I can't vouch for you, as I am a well-known thief in this town. If you wish, you can stay at my house. You won't face any trouble."

The saint was in a dilemma. Staying at a thief's house? What would people think? But there was no other option. Reluctantly, he agreed to stay, thinking he would make other arrangements the next day.

The thief left the saint at his home and went out for his "work"—stealing. He returned in the morning, quite cheerful. He told the saint that he had not had any luck that night but was hopeful for the next.

Despite being a thief, his behaviour was very good. Because of this, the saint stayed at his house for a whole month. Each night, the thief went out to steal, but his luck didn’t favour him. However, he remained cheerful, confident that his luck would surely change.

After a month, he finally had a big success.

The saint thought to himself, "How determined this thief is! He has unshakeable faith in himself, whereas we get disheartened by a little failure. If we have such determination and faith, success is certain."

Moral:

This inspiring story teaches us not to be disheartened or discouraged by failures. With determination and continuous effort, success is certain.
